1. But this app doesn't stop notifying you about breaking news even though you turn it off! This is very annoying! If my settings say notifications are turned off then why am I getting them every few minutes? Please sort this out or I'm going to un-install the app as I can't take any more.RT provides interesting news updates, but their mobile app lacks the most basic Android features: login & Google Drive backup.

As a multicultural person who lived in 3 continents (africa, europe, north america), 5 countries (algeria, france, holand, italy, USA) and 5 US states (WA, AL, MA, NY, NC), I've seen news from many political facets and RT platform is what I like to call a good quantum number "n" in atomic physics, in other words a reliable consistent and factual news.

Easy: open the app, at the bottom-right of the screen there is a PLUS symbol + Press it, then press "Aa" and you will be able to change the text size using the slider.Describes news differently than the Western (that is US and UK based) news media does, so they and their politicians criticise it.

4. Functionality-wise it lacks a few features that other news apps have such as customising your feed to filter out things you're less interested in (the constant UFC articles for me).

5. It can be boring and repetitive, but as a basic news source once you understand it, it can be good and very very rapid - ahead of almost everyone else in that regard.

1. Fix RT News Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart RT News: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the RT News App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "RT News" » Open RT News » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for RT News » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear RT News app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from RT News servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "RT News" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check RT News app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, RT News might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall RT News. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall RT News then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing RT News not working

2. Fix RT News Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make RT News be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to RT News not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, RT News may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
