RICEPO Customer Insights

1. Not only that, prices are marked up compared to the menu (sometimes even compared to other delivery apps).I ordered the food today and it is the first time I used it.

2. Two stars for the restaurant and the food.The friggin letters are so tiny! My eyesight isn't even that bad and I'm having a difficult time reading these tiny letters.

3. Instead, they keep silent and pretend as no one’s working every time there is a problem with the delivery (120 min to receive food while the ETA is 50 min).

4. Too unreliableI've used this app a grand total of three times and every single time I've used it my food gets made and sits at the restaurant indefinitely.

5. I have zero complaints ????This service is excellent when you need food and don’t want to spend time fetching or cooking it.

6. My food comes on time, the customer service reps always text me back in a decent amount of time, and my food has always come to me hot.

7. The cafe is just 25min drive from my home, but it took 3 hours after I ordered the food!!!!! When I ordered, the app shows it only takes 65-85mins, but it actually took 3 hours.

8. I've had to personally go pick up every single one of my delivery orders placed through ricepo because the drivers never actually go to pick up the food.

9. Why do you have to make them so tiny? There is lots of dead unused space surrounding the tiny words in the app.I’m new to town and wanted to try a Chinese Restaurant that had my favorite appetizer on the menu.

10. The map showed the driver is moving away from me, even though the app said 'en route'... Food finally arrived, but wouldn't use again.

11. At last, I want to report this bad experience in the app, but it shows 404 when I reported!! Horrible experience.Update: CS manager called me and apologized.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix RICEPO Issues

1. Fix RICEPO Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart RICEPO: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the RICEPO App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "RICEPO" » Open RICEPO by Weee! » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for RICEPO » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear RICEPO by Weee! app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from RICEPO servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "RICEPO by Weee!" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check RICEPO app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, RICEPO might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall RICEPO. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall RICEPO then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing RICEPO not working


2. Fix RICEPO Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make RICEPO be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to RICEPO not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, RICEPO may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
