Direct2HR Customer Insights

1. I'm just trying to set up my direct deposit for work and I have to jump through 1000 hoops, having to download other apps that also don't work well.

2. I keep trying to log on with the one time pin, but it wont allow me to until I provide my current password.

3. Use the website if able, stay clear of this joke.This app simply does not work.

4. Then tells you there have been too many failed logins and your account is locked and you need to reset your password.

5. If I could remember it, from 5 yrs ago, I wouldn't be trying to reset it and use the one time pin, but I have to know it in order to reset.

6. The app has all the pertinent information I need but as of today, I haven't been able to get it to open for about 3 days.

7. Fix it right!!!Not the greatest app works most times but then does not work and the app does not work how it should.

8. I have changed my password and used the one time code to the exact same result.

9. Safeway/Albertsons should use Time Forge, much easier to use.When it will open, it works well enough.

10. I would never recommend this app.It works, but man is it slow! Takes over 30 seconds to load to even get to the sign in screen.

11. This is my 3rd attempt trying to get it to work and it's just not happening.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Direct2HR Issues

1. Fix Direct2HR Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Direct2HR: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Direct2HR App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Direct2HR" » Open Direct2HR » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Direct2HR » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Direct2HR app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Direct2HR servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Direct2HR" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Direct2HR app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Direct2HR might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Direct2HR. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Direct2HR then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Direct2HR not working


2. Fix Direct2HR Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Direct2HR be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Direct2HR not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Direct2HR may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
