Platzi Customer Insights

1. Everything it's ok with platzi's courses but I have to watch the courses from browser.I love leaning wherever I go with the Platzi app and my subscription.The app tell me that my plan is 'free' but i paid the whole year of platzi, the problem is that the app don't allow me to download classes.The content is great, but with downloaded files it never keeps track of your progress.

2. Another smaller problem is that auto play simply stops when there is a text clas in between two video classes, not even loading the text for that class.Disclaimer: The product is great, and I have learned a lot with the company courses.

3. Why would you release a version that would not be even considered a beta and not made it optional! đź‘Žđź‘Žđź‘ŽIt os not the best experience, I feel that I can't find easily what i am looking for, besides the settings button doesn't work at allPlease, make the app support horizontal screen, in tab is a better experience :3It's been fun learning with platzi.

4. This beta is awful, everything is slow, the payer speed doesn't have .25 speeds like x1.25, you can't download the courses to watch offline (something I really needed this time).

5. Some of them are: (Tested in Samsung Galaxy A50) - When I am watching a course in Landscape mode, and the lesson finishes to continue the next one, it changes to portrait back.

6. In other words, if I play a lesson in Downloads in portrait mode, there's an ugly blank space below, like if there's something loading, but it's not.

7. The previous lesson keeps playing, and there's not even a loader to indicate that the lessons I clicked on is loading.

8. First, some courses simply don't load for me on the app (but they work on the web), like the ethereum history one for example, or most of the advanced blockchain courses.

9. - When I delete a big course (+30 lessons), it doesn't show right away it has been deleted, and doesn't even inform (which goes against the UX principles I have learned with you).

10. - The Download option is completely isolated from the actual courses.

11. Yes, there's the schools and lists that I created, but there is not a HISTORY list of the lessons or courses I have played.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Platzi Issues

1. Fix Platzi Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Platzi: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Platzi App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Platzi" » Open Platzi - Cursos online » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Platzi » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Platzi - Cursos online app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Platzi servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Platzi - Cursos online" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Platzi app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Platzi might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Platzi. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Platzi then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Platzi not working


2. Fix Platzi Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Platzi be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Platzi not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Platzi may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
