1. It's pretty decent so far and I like the concept, but it's missing some key features: * Workout reminder notifications should only surface on days when a workout is scheduled * There should be voice prompts or notifications at least when you're halfway or done with a run * Running maps * Workout plans should include strength training.
2. Edit: developer responded outlining the app's features and really, 6.99 a month should get you GPS tracking, health info tracking, automatic calculation of pace and dynamic training updates.
3. Overall I like it! EDIT: the bonus with this app is the customer service support! While the app is a little limiting, the support folks are great!I'm about 2 weeks into the novice half marathon plan and I love it.
4. Hal's advice says to include strength training but it's never part of the schedule.I'm a huge Garmin fan, but I've done all their coaching programs.
5. I think it needs to be more adaptive, but also the way it calculates your target paces makes no sense to me, based on what I've done for training in the past - using Hal's plans.
6. It would be nice to be able to toggle cross training and runs when they don't fall on their respective days.
7. It also keeps me on track.I think it will work... I would like the option to add in cross training and not leave distances blank.
8. They said they're working on it.Was looking for a half marathon training plan and decided to try this out.
9. You can connect it to Garmin but it doesn't use any HR, elevation, cadence, or temperature information which is a huge waste even if you think this information is overrated its still helpful and better than the arbitrary "how did the run feel" rating.
10. The distance field needs to go the nearest hundredths. The plan is great, seems solid.
11. I've reached out to support multiple times with no solution.Unfortunately, it's kind of not very intuitive to figure out, and I don't find the plan the app generates to make a lot of sense.
