1. When I couldn't find Wi-Fi to use my other phone without data, I downloaded this app and had mobile data within minutes! It used my current phone's Bluetooth capabilities to send my mobile data over to the other one! This is exactly what I was looking for and the step by step directions with pictures made it so easy to use! Definitely recommend! :)This app does what it says, the setup takes some time & attention to detail, but are some of the BEST technical directions I've EVER seen, & Ive seen a lot.

6. I have had to repeat the setup a couple of times since the initial, but I have no reason to believe that has anything to do with the app.Excellent app! Tethering works fine with a Tracfone Samsung Galaxy Sky S320VL on Verizon.

8. HOWEVER, (and judging by other reviews this may just be a 'me' problem) the speeds are incredibly slow (10-90kbps; my regular internet connection is pretty fast) and it's almost not worth it to use.

1. Fix SecureTether Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart SecureTether: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the SecureTether App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SecureTether" » Open SecureTether - Free no root Bl » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SecureTether » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear SecureTether - Free no root Bl app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SecureTether servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SecureTether - Free no root Bl" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check SecureTether app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SecureTether might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall SecureTether. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SecureTether then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SecureTether not working

2. Fix SecureTether Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SecureTether be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SecureTether not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SecureTether may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
