Lumi Customer Insights

1. Now i'm logged out, auto credentials lost from smartphone and forgetten password process doesn't work properly, disabled "confim" button after submitting the OTP and creating the new passwordThis app is so slow that your insurance expires before the page is loaded.

2. Example1 cannot change location for search.I can't log in appears this massage Attention The instance of entity type 'CUser' cannot be tracked because another instance with the same key value for {'UserID'} is already being tracked.

3. -------- Too many bugs in the application, starting from UI/UX issues to crashes and missing functionalitiesNightmare, updated the old mynextcare app to lumi without permission.

4. It is also not showing all the covered providers as per policy.Poorly constructed, policies on the previous app don't migrate here, have to add them all manually and even then they policies don't get uploaded.

5. Keeps telling me "Attention: Cannot send email..." and asks me to contact support!!!After contacting the app support team, the major issue has been resolved.

6. Old app had the option to filter out the search based on hospitals/clinics and also out patient and inpatient covered.

7. Update: I confirm that the updated app still does not include the search filter based on IP and OP.

8. Keep improving the performance and enhancing the features.First application changed on my phone without notifying me.

9. There is no option to filter IP and OP of covered providers.

10. First this app updated the original MyNext Care app without permission.

11. It throws up an error message saying that another user with the same information is being tracked.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Lumi Issues

1. Fix Lumi Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Lumi: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Lumi App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Lumi" » Open Lumi by Nextcare » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Lumi » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Lumi by Nextcare app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Lumi servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Lumi by Nextcare" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Lumi app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Lumi might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Lumi. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Lumi then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Lumi not working


2. Fix Lumi Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Lumi be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Lumi not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Lumi may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
