After running it my permissions manager app is only showing that the app used the overlay permission, which I granted because is required to overlay the data meter option... is optional and you can pick which apps will use that feature, that's great.The application is pretty straightforward, accurately logs data usage and keeps tethering/hotspot data usage separate from regular mobile data usage so you can know exactly how much of your hotspot you have used and how much you have left, without needing to keep track of it yourself and subtract it from your total data usage.

2. Has a couple other useful features as well, such as tracking individual app data usage, a notification toolbar, and bubble indicators for instant usage on apps! Excellent!This app is great, I've been using it for a while and it works perfectly, I wish there was a feature to adjust the daily data limit to average it out - i.e. remaining data/days left.

11. The other one for the network.It has a well structured ui, no ads, but... I cannot correct the remaining MB and while i chose to disable the persistant notification, it reappeared after few secs while it was unticked!! I would like to be able to use a widget that gives a general sum on the home screen.

   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Data Usage Hotspot" » Open Data Usage Hotspot - NeoData » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Data Usage Hotspot » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Data Usage Hotspot - NeoData app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Data Usage Hotspot servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Data Usage Hotspot - NeoData" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Data Usage Hotspot app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Data Usage Hotspot might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Data Usage Hotspot. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Data Usage Hotspot then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Data Usage Hotspot not working

2. Fix Data Usage Hotspot Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Data Usage Hotspot be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Data Usage Hotspot not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Data Usage Hotspot may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
