1. You can't change the video quality manually at all on top of the fact it never remembers the correct part you left off of when you press continue watching this app is garbage id rather watch spoilers on YouTubeThe only content that plays without an issue are the ads.

2. It's ridiculous!!! Can't watch these shows anywhere else to catch up, so this app is all I got, and it's ridiculous that it takes 20 times longer to watch a single episode!This app is terrible.

3. You do need a cable subscription to watch anything but I love the option to watch live on my phone!this is the most annoying app.

4. They know this but choose not to fix it.I am so tired of trying to catch up on shows on the app, and every few seconds it pauses and freezes as if it is buffering, legit every 3 to 5 seconds it stops playing.

5. I don't like that the app says to "watch free" when you have to add to a provider and that the episodes are out of order as well.

6. It flashes in and out during ever show, the ads don't even show but you can hear them (which I'm perfectly fine with), and at the end of every other "commercial break" it just stops and won't let me press anything forcing me to refresh.

7. I installed the app to watch old episodes of the challenge on the go.

8. When it does get working again, I have fast forward bc it doesn't pick up where it left off, which means I have to run through an additional 5 minutes of commercials.

9. Otherwise, you can not pause, you can not fast forward or rewind without the video getting choppy, grainy, or just flat out give an error stating content is not available.

10. The app also sometimes doesn't recognize that you've stopped in the middle of an episode and will start from the beginning when you come back.

11. I understand they don't want to make it better than the TV service, otherwise no one would watch them on TV, but this is ridiculous.

1. Fix MTV Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart MTV: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the MTV App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MTV" » Open MTV » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MTV » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear MTV app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MTV servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MTV" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check MTV app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MTV might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall MTV. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MTV then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MTV not working

2. Fix MTV Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MTV be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MTV not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MTV may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
