BLOCK Customer Insights

1. Also, I don't see any place to help in resetting the password.this app is great for the digital copies you have purchased however, I was given a subscription for Christmas last year and I am not able to view any of the issues through this app.

2. * I have a combo tablet/Laptop, it doesn't allow me to download a version on this piece of equipment.(google Play store) * If one pays for a subscription to the hard copy, one should be able to view it in the app and be able to print the pattern (Pages) you may want to use.

3. Maybe a Table of Contents "option" that is a separate option that shows "2016" as an image or grid of "blocks" each a separate year like quilt blocks but each a separate year.

4. 😕 My tablet is chock full and I need to make a decision - keep BLOCK on my tablet hogging up data, or delete it and free up storage.

5. While technology is most of the time a good thing, many of us are limiting using it, while we are trying focus our attention on our cutting or sewing machines and following a pattern on a larger text scale.

6. I've yet to see you answer a comment so, I doubt you'll answer mine.. Delete!After the initial sign up, I've not been able to access the contents.

7. Not happy.Looks very nice, but I can only look at pictures.. I assume I am unable register because I do not have an subscription with you ? .

8. I was told because I was gifted the subscription I don't have the option to view the issues online.

9. It would be nice to have a table of contents or index so I can find a specific pattern or story.

10. I prepaid for a full year subscription and was under the understanding that the digital is free.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix BLOCK Issues

1. Fix BLOCK Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart BLOCK: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the BLOCK App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "BLOCK" » Open BLOCK by MSQC » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for BLOCK » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear BLOCK by MSQC app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from BLOCK servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "BLOCK by MSQC" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check BLOCK app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, BLOCK might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall BLOCK. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall BLOCK then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing BLOCK not working


2. Fix BLOCK Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make BLOCK be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to BLOCK not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, BLOCK may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
