MEMORY MIC Customer Insights

1. After finally giving up and trying to just format it the app crashes after making hooting noises so yeahYou choose between good audio quality (the mic) or good video quality since you have to use this app to use the mic and this app has zero video controls for exposure, etc.

2. I don't mind the quality of the video for my purposes (although it's not the best), but every time I film, I need to check that the audio is actually synched.

3. The mic is good, but the app needs to be improved : the videos taken in the app are too jerky (poor quality), we can't save the files to the phone gallery or music easily, we can't move the files to the SD card, sometimes the app cannot download the files of the previous recording session... annoying.

4. It happens that the audio is delayed while retrieving the video file, so I have to go back and extract it again.

5. the sync is off, or the audio disappears, or the video glitches.

6. Went to sync, it sees it, claims there's no file there, now connecting claims open session and says I can clear the mic or cancel.

7. It is even happening on first start up of the app and mic, it connects but had the orange light and again later claims open sessions, occasionally loosing what I just recorded because it makes me clear open sessions.

8. If it is video with audio then video part is pathetic in its app.

9. Have to clear out memory after every recording as it claims there are open sessions still, this is without exiting the app.

10. It could be great if it support multiple microphones with control of their levels and sound effects.

11. The camera on all is really bad keeps jitters and freezes.Did several tests that were fine, then used it to record an hour and a half meeting I'm supposed to make notes for.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MEMORY MIC Issues

1. Fix MEMORY MIC Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MEMORY MIC: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MEMORY MIC App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MEMORY MIC" » Open MEMORY MIC » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MEMORY MIC » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MEMORY MIC app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MEMORY MIC servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MEMORY MIC" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MEMORY MIC app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MEMORY MIC might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MEMORY MIC. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MEMORY MIC then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MEMORY MIC not working


2. Fix MEMORY MIC Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MEMORY MIC be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MEMORY MIC not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MEMORY MIC may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
