Why should I report an Issue with Grants.gov?

1. It's all in the coding.When I first began using the app several years ago, yes I was frustrated and hated it.. However through Patience and perseverance, I found all the hyper links which takes you to the pages that explain in full detail the requirements of the grants, ect.. Yes at first it was frustrating.. as I see so many negative reviews on here, however I'm thankful it's not long-form and multiple books that it use to be... so thanks for making it convenient for those who are ungrateful.. ❤️I like the general layout of this app you can easily learn what grants are, how they work, and see which grants you can qualify for but it seems to have some bugs to work out of it.

2. Direct me to the grants website that doesn't allow phishing, data theft and harassment and no registration! If Grants are open to the public, then why register or login?POS APP IS BROKEN.

3. It seems to be more of a confusion app , than a help app.I cannot even login into the app, the login is just pressible but not traversable to your account or the grants needed.

4. This should be the best approach in AmericaHorrible! This app and the accompanying government website as well as login.gov is the most horrible, phishing attempting, cumbersome, rediculous app and website I have ever experienced.

5. That's such a huge waste of resources and time it's just busy work to keep people working.

6. I do hope that this app improves because a lot of broke non profits need something to do, its a shame that there is so little accountability for the use of the funds that's why there are no success stories.I could not register using the app, as form filling data was compromised.

7. Why does it click black, return to orange and then do nothing? Do you understand how logging in works? Usually i get feedback like wrong password or username not found.

8. I can not get on half the time, can't access the grants, can't apply for the grants, took months to set up.

9. It is horrible how much time I have wasted when I could have been doing other stuff.

1. Fix Grants.gov Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Grants.gov: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Grants.gov App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Grants.gov" » Open Grants.gov » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Grants.gov » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Grants.gov app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Grants.gov servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Grants.gov" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Grants.gov app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Grants.gov might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Grants.gov. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Grants.gov then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Grants.gov not working

2. Fix Grants.gov Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Grants.gov be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Grants.gov not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Grants.gov may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
