1. When I use non tracking shoes I find my time is inaccurate.actually had 2 runs be exactly the same down to the second than the next run I used my tracking shoes and it took 20 secs off mytimeI've been using Map my run for over 10 years and it has been truly great! They continually update features, develop new useful additions such as various synchronicity to other devices, apps and platforms.
2. Also, if you go up and down the same hill for sone time, the app for some reason tracks an offset zigzag trajectory as if the app couldn't correct for the rotation of the Earth or something...). Anyways, good enough for me as a casual runner.Have used it for several years every time I walk.
3. I use the Map My Run app because it includes the automatic pause feature that was removed from Map My Walk app a couple years ago.
4. Why they needed to add this when it always worked by default this way without needed a button which broke it is stupid after so many years.
5. A couple of issues: the pause run button on the watch isn't consistent & i usually have to pull my phone out to stop the run.
6. Ive been using this app for over 2 years now.
7. I like the fact that you can adjust settings so that the voice coach comes on only as frequently or infrequently as you want and reports only the data that you're interested in.
8. Sometimes it randomly has me run an extra .10 mile to complete each mile which messes with my pace/overall time, as well as endurance.
9. Would not recommend to try.since they have fixed the bugs this app is working great the past 4+ years.
10. I just wish the GPS would align better with the road map (I never know for sure how accurate the distance recorded is.
11. Very disappointed and looking for a better ap.I chose this app over Strava & the Nike app because I wanted to control my runs from my Galaxy watch.
Recently when I finish my rum and try to save activity on MMR app, screen prompts to change/delete stats instead.
No longer the previous saving immediately.
