Why should I report an Issue with AudioNote?

3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. On looking back, the audio captured doesn't match the total duration of the lecture e.g one lecture was an hour yet only 9 minutes of the lecture was actually recorded (even though the notes I typed during the lecture have timestamps that were up to 50 minutes) on listening back to the recording there are a lot of mute parts too.

I see that the developer didn't update the app since 2014 and this is disappointing, because it is a great app and need to be updated to include some additional features like adding (undo, and redo) buttons, also displaying a confirmation message to save changes before closing, improving the handwriting, and adding online backup and restore.

3. It has a unique feature that I've never seen in any other app, which is synchronizing the audio with writing, that makes it very useful tool to record sessions and taking notes in the same time and both are synced.

4. In addition, it would assist if the audio recording could be compatable with other audio softwares.The format for Saving files is awful.

5. All these updates will significantly improve the user experience.I've been using AudioNote for years now, first with iPad and a couple of years now with Samsung Galaxy phones, currently S9.

6. Sometimes the recording just pauses, sometimes it begins from zero and I keep losing coherence in the audio.I recorded two lectures.

7. This Means I cannot share the recording accross all platforms, I am sure You can get this right.I now get a message that this app is no longer written for my version of Android.

8. There are no settings available.I would have given this a5 star rating except that all the other platforms allow to save to DropBox but the Android version does not.

9. I love it, however for some reason, I am having now continuous issues which basically prevent me from using this great app and push me to look for a replacement.

1. Fix AudioNote Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart AudioNote: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the AudioNote App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AudioNote" » Open AudioNote » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AudioNote » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear AudioNote app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AudioNote servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AudioNote" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check AudioNote app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AudioNote might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall AudioNote. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AudioNote then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AudioNote not working

2. Fix AudioNote Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AudioNote be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AudioNote not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AudioNote may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
