1. Great gamification of learning, and after a week I've been able to read signs in braille out in public, and feel like i'm getting the gist of reading simple texts.
2. For example, when I select nimbers, punctuation, and letters for practice, I got 89 numbers, 3 letters, and 8 pieces of punctuation, which is obviously skewed and not super great for continued learning to keep everything in learning top of mind to reinforce the different elements.
3. I'm leaning at a far faster pace then I would with a pen and paper. This app has REALLY helped with my braille learning- I am taking a braille course and this is a great practice tool (and more fun than flashcards).
4. Looking forward to learning more advanced material with this app which includes grammar, punctuation, etc. There should be a challenge mode for numbers, shortforms, group signs, etc.. I really like the challenges and they help a lot with speed, maybe you could also make them get progressively harder to match the level of the person using this.
5. Otherwise, great app, and $0.99 price tag to kill ads is reasonable.Great! Teaches step-by-step, grades automatically, gets you excited about learning Braille.
6. I wanna to learn Braille in case I ever get to a point where I need it this was the Apple to highest rating and I was excited.. The music is completely unnecessary irritating and Makes it impossible For me to useGreat app.
7. I am using it to learn so I can teach my student who is going blind.Great learning app.
8. I enjoy the 'translation' page, where you translate the written text into braille, but... The page where you read the braille and type in the translation.... IS WAAAY TOO SMALL.
9. I have learned braille from scratch just by using this app, so I rate 5 stars and I recommend for anyone starting out as a beginner. What is with the loud elevator music when you open this app.
10. Overall, love it!I learned the alphabet so fast! This is a great system because it allows you to learn a few at a time and quiz yourself.
11. I wanted to learn braille, so I grabbed a piece of paper, marked where the dots would go for the alphabet, and go over them with 3D paint.
