Not recommended - there are much better apps for this that actually work.I tried a lot of download managers and had all kinds of weird problems with them some had lots of ads, failing downloads for no reason, downloaded files somehow damaged every time, some dont even have an internal browser which is dumb, and the ones who have internal browsers are old and unable to enter modern sites, but this? this is perfection, this does everything i need and then some more, the only way this app improves is if the devs integraded a torrent client, but im satisfied with it nowBought the Pro.

All in all, FAR more trouble than it was worth.resuming downloads is nice, it was slow but IDM on my phone downloaded multiple 17MB files that chrome on my pc repeatedly failed, it won't replace the browsers everyone use daily but it might work where they fail (edit: ads just make me want to uninstall this as soon as i'm done using it, i can't recommend this as a browser because i didn't even use that part of the app)i started using this app because of the download failed issue when using chrome.

3. Would love some 'Quality of life' improvements.A download manager is an essential tool when using poor internet connections that are prone to dropping out causing downloads to fail.

It also has good features like controlling the number of servers, speed cap.The problem with this app is that in some cases it is not able to catch the video link or it catches the link of the advertisement.Althought the adverts are irritating... Like that idiot wanting to be mayor... I like this app.

1. Fix IDM Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart IDM: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the IDM App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "IDM" » Open IDM - Download Manager Plus » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for IDM » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear IDM - Download Manager Plus app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from IDM servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "IDM - Download Manager Plus" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check IDM app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, IDM might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall IDM. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall IDM then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing IDM not working

2. Fix IDM Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make IDM be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to IDM not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, IDM may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
