Logitech Mevo Customer Insights

1. Things as simple as editing a title from the go live screen instead of having to go into the gear icon for the destination (doesn't save unless you go live right then).Old version worked great, BUT this new version (Mevo 2.0) is horrible! It crashed no less the 15 times during a live broadcast!!! WTH!!! It was LIVE! I'm running a tablet with plenty of power, and it ran great on the old version.

2. They screw up their own software and the support is garbage.Wow Mevo, the recent update really sucked! Our church has been successfully streaming for >3 years with an external microphone.

3. The recent update has now disabled it for the regular Mevo app; to get it working again we have to upgrade to Pro and pay a subscription fee!?!? No thanks; in my book I consider this extortion which our church will not support.

4. Then I kept getting connection error messages, and when I attempted to reconnect, I kept getting a warning message, but there were notification and screen messages stating it was still streaming!!! Embarrassing and costly error!It's great and helpful for what it does.

5. NEEDS a narrow FOV, low f/# lens real bad!!!It's great, when it works, however the latest rounds of updates, cause the live streaming to either be a hit or miss, I would say it only works 40% of the time.

6. However, the graphic overlay layout when "live" does not give an option for a lower thirds banner nor a left/right over the shoulder, just a full screen graphic overlay.

7. It would also be nice to update the app with the "update" button instead of having to uninstall/reinstall with each update.This app used to work fine, but after a series of updates it no longer streams video to the phone without stuttering and freezing constantly.

8. Also, I am paying for the premium plan.What a disappointment! After the recent update, I was livestresming an event, I thought, only to find out I recorded and Livestreamed six minutes of an hour-long service.

9. My advice: drop more money on a nicer camera and use OBS.EDIT: With most recent update, app seems to be working better than before (kept crashing).

10. I have upgraded my wifi to fiber optics, tried ethernet, and LTE, but at some point in streaming live it loses connection.

11. I'm able to do a left over the shoulder counter, but only it I start it before going "live".

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Logitech Mevo Issues

1. Fix Logitech Mevo Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Logitech Mevo: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Logitech Mevo App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Logitech Mevo" » Open Logitech Mevo » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Logitech Mevo » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Logitech Mevo app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Logitech Mevo servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Logitech Mevo" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Logitech Mevo app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Logitech Mevo might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Logitech Mevo. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Logitech Mevo then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Logitech Mevo not working


2. Fix Logitech Mevo Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Logitech Mevo be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Logitech Mevo not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Logitech Mevo may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
