1. I still haven't tried updated app out in depth but this was not a pretty transition to begin with.The newest update at least gave it a visual upgrade, the app is a whole lot easier to navigate and understand and seems a bit faster, I can't choose the email option on the account page for whatever reason so I can't create an account, all in all, it's a decent app and just got a bit better, shout out to the Freegal developers for their attempts at making the app better and not neglecting it.Free music.

2. 😀 It is prettier than the old app; it"s faster & I like that your wish list songs are played like a play list.I only gave this 3 stars because I had to troubleshoot app update failure.

3. It almost tries to hide the songs that they have by putting covers over the actual song, which seems like a waste.Does not work! I have had this app for a few years now and it was very nice to have.

7. Omitting general search results for artists but that can be found by searching for their specific piece.This has great potential, but the interface is slow, unintuitive, clunky, and has very little in the form of help.

8. There are a lot of songs not on the system, and sometimes the alternate or cover version is all you're going to be able to get, but there's a bargain to be had here.

1. Fix Freegal Music Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Freegal Music: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Freegal Music App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Freegal Music" » Open Freegal Music » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Freegal Music » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Freegal Music app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Freegal Music servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Freegal Music" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Freegal Music app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Freegal Music might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Freegal Music. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Freegal Music then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Freegal Music not working

2. Fix Freegal Music Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Freegal Music be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Freegal Music not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Freegal Music may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
