LEGO Customer Insights

1. Really annoying since we need the app to build the stuff we bought! The set should include a set of physical instructions since obviously the tech isn't quite there yet.I think the app overall is great! However, I think a lot of kids loved seeing their digital collection shown on the main screen and are now sad to see it gone replaced by the random level generator.

2. I think the random level generator is a cool idea, but it shouldn't have replaced the digital collection on the main screen...maybe give it its own menu option?I had a previous review that stated I couldn't start the app, but it was only because of a server issue or something along those lines.

3. Please bring it back.Great app and all, works pretty well, and I get trying out new stuff with technology, but the idea of ONLY being able to see the instructions for lego sets on mobile devices? That's just too much.

4. It's nice to be able to use the instructions to build the sets and to keep track of all your Lego Mario sets.

5. Maybe two days we had no issues but on the third day the app loaded fine but when it went to the menu screen, the screen darkened and I couldn't click on anything.

6. But maybe include booklet in future just in case of future technical issues.Edit: so glad they fixed the issue.

7. We got the Mario connected through Bluetooth but the screen will stay black with the music playing in the background.

8. Also, some times when going to the new bag animation, the screen is black and there is no continue button. This app is pretty cool.

9. It had some issues the week after Christmas, but I'm guessing a lot of kids got sets after Christmas it crashed.

10. However, the fact that the Mario and Luigi can get stuck in update mode in the first place is concerning.

11. Also, there's a much more minor issue with the app constantly asking you what year you were born in despite confirming it so many times already.App was fixed after not working for a couple days.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix LEGO Issues

1. Fix LEGO Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

  1. Restart LEGO: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the LEGO App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "LEGO" » Open LEGO® Super Mario™ » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for LEGO » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear LEGO® Super Mario™ app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from LEGO servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "LEGO® Super Mario™" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check LEGO app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, LEGO might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall LEGO. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall LEGO then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing LEGO not working

2. Fix LEGO Server issues & Internet Connection

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make LEGO be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to LEGO not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, LEGO may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
