The audio should be able to download for first and stored in the device for repeat replay.I love I the 1st version of Ayat app, everything was easy to understand n all options, features were amazing, past 2 days it says internal error, I downloaded new version but couldn't find Tafsir in English, it displays blank screen, but other languages it shows up.

I also can no longer listen to a verse and pause it half way and continue when needed as it plays the from the start every time u stop so I can not use it to help me follow as I read and pause when needed.The first version of this app was the best, used it since 2014 then apparently the developets stopped maintaining it since almost 2018, but it was still usable, and in the last week it stopped working altogether.

The previous version was far better concerning this option, still the overall performance of this version is good, only the repetition thing is what it lacks, and is what we the users really used to benefit from.This and the first version of the app both do a great job and are the best of their kind.

4. This version 2 is clear example of what NOT to do!The first version of this app stopped working on my phone a few days ago, I used this app daily and it was brilliant to help follow reciter and ensure I was reading my arabic correctly.

5. Especially useful for memorising similar ayahs.Please developers, this version doesn't have the repeating option of several verses together, as repeating a page or two, like the previous version.

6. The previous one also has a repeat option although this one doesn't.The effort to upgrade the original version is commendable.

7. The developers have done a great job please add back some of the missing featuresIt is more easier to use but for some of the people that are used to the previous version might not actually understand how to use it.

8. The new version need to be connected to data line all the time and painfully slow to download each ayat.

9. In the previous version, you could just type a word or group of words and instantly see all the ayahs with those words.

10. As the first version no longer works I have lost many bookmarks and notes.

11. However certain features that has been changed caused confusion to people have grown used to the 1st version.

1. Fix Ayat 2 Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Ayat 2: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Ayat 2 App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Ayat 2" » Open Ayat 2 - Al Quran » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Ayat 2 » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Ayat 2 - Al Quran app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Ayat 2 servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Ayat 2 - Al Quran" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Ayat 2 app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Ayat 2 might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Ayat 2. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Ayat 2 then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Ayat 2 not working

2. Fix Ayat 2 Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Ayat 2 be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Ayat 2 not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Ayat 2 may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
