Why should I report an Issue with GPS Average?

1. AppContacter will directly Email your issue/feedback to an apps's customer service once you report an issue and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen to you.
2. Pulling issues faced by users like you is a good way to draw attention of JCL Apps to your problem using the strength of crowds.
3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

I also turned it on this morning and left my phone sitting on a window sil, knowing it would take 5.56 hours to reach 20k samples, the max shown onscreen, but for some reason, it stopped at 3000, only 50 minutes later.Before I give this app five stars, it needs to have at least two more decimal points of precision, and has a settings to change to DMS, and decimal degrees.

2. The only things missing are renaming after creating a waypoint and keyboard suggestions while naming.Display shows location in degrees followed by minutes in decimal format.

3. There is no option to change the output to decimal degrees, or degrees, minutes and seconds.Great basic tool.

4. Edit: I don't see a mechanism to change the readout DD MM.mmm to DD.ddddddd or DD MM SS.ssss. My review was based on the resolution that I saw and still see.

5. I'd probably rate it higher but there is no menu available to change units of measure or other parameters.

6. However it doesnt average altitude! Should be an easy fix, I don't know why it isn't already in there to be honestPretty good, but can't share as "geo:" URIs.

7. Also, I should mention that a resolution of 1 meter or so would be relatively good for an old style L1 only gps, but not dual-freq SBAS.

1. Fix GPS Average Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart GPS Average: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the GPS Average App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GPS Average" » Open GPS Average » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GPS Average » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear GPS Average app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GPS Average servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GPS Average" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check GPS Average app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GPS Average might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall GPS Average. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GPS Average then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GPS Average not working

2. Fix GPS Average Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GPS Average be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GPS Average not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GPS Average may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
