1. (2016 Toyota) I was able to pull some data from other sensors like purge and barometric pressure, but others were missing like Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor among others.I mean, it works... But why the heck is every single action so dang slow? There are like 20 sensor types that my vehicle simply doesn't have, and even when using the "custom scan" mode it scans modules I didn't ask it to, which don't exist in my vehicle.
2. The device literally obtains everything about the vehicle from it's year/make/model, to tire size, down to the city/town/country the car was manufactured in.It gives decent information but no matter what I do it will not perform a "custom scan" and or "module" scan for whatever reason, the price is great, the dashboard and live data work surprisingly well.
3. Live features, connectivity and overlapping graphs all work well ..... For the cost.Had a blinking check engine light on a 2012 Toyota FJ, started running roughly with a very regular hesitation, didn't want to go over 35-40, so I drove another car to Harbor Freight and got this.
4. It ID'ed a slew of things, I cleaned the Mass Airflow Sensor (dang bug), presto, drove it, tested it again, all clear!Great app so far, told me nothing wrong with one vehicle, but showed me what is due to be checked at the next maintenance interval.
5. Want to check some live data? Too bad, it spend 25 minutes scanning TPMS and hangs and or says 0 for tire pressure.
6. I love the fact that the app stores all information obtained during each scan so you can look back at them individually even if you are no longer connected to the vehicle.
7. For the price can't beat it.While it's handy for a quick scan, the app seems to be fairly convoluted for what it does.
8. I'm not just saying that because a pocket scan tool gives me a tech boner.
9. There are plenty of categories to choose from, but in my case it always attempts to scan the TPMS system (and fails).
10. Only thing that could make it better would be the ability to test individual components as a much more expensive scan tool would do.
11. So I wait until after the scan is done and have no issues with it connecting! This is quite possibly the greatest app to have ever apped.
