1. Technical support got back with me quickly and it was determined the device was bad.INVEST IN A BETTER SOFTWARE DEVELOPER, this app is the coolest thing ever, until you realize it's difficult to use... using vins is super hard and once you setup for a car you cant switch.... but you have to buy vins to be able to do so, I bought the vins and now it just says honda accord... not my ban or my other 3 cars that I have tried to sync up with.... annoyed AF..dont waste you money on this.
2. (Though, this may also require an Internet connection.) Summary: The RepairSolutions app is a total waste of space without Internet or cellular data. What's the point of a worthless app? It claims to automatically connect to the scanner, Innova 3160g.
3. Don't worry their newer models will also disappoint once they update their app.Used twice and now won't connect tried clearing cache on Bluetooth did all troubleshooting! Restarted phone, deleted app re downloaded etc.
4. The app doesn't even try to connect to the scanner yet shows scanning the vehicle?? This is a complete trash application.
5. It is not possible to do anything with the app, except for connect and fetch the device's S/N, without an internet connection.
6. Still nothing! Doesn't connect to Bluetooth many people have same problem! 👎👎👎👎Not working.
7. When paired with an advanced version of their OBD-II tool (3160g) that supports "live data", the app does not appear to be able to display live data.
8. The app goes straight to scanning but never connects to the scanner although the scanner is connected to the vehicle, Bluetooth is on, and vehicle ignition is ON.
9. Don't even bother downloading, you will be immensely disappointed.Won't connect to device.
10. The app is totally useless without an active internet connection since 99.99999% of the functionality is web/cloud based.
11. After that first initial time it never was able to pair to the phone.
