StalkerTV Customer Insights

1. A very annoying feature is that the video does not collapse to a mini player when you move away from the app like almost all decent video players do now, YouTube, Netflix etc If we got this feature it would be a5/5two star - In video club whenever i try to play any movie i get error saying play back error.

2. Over 2 years passed since I suggested this and still this basic option is missing.Purchased in Oct 2017 and worked well for approx12 months and then had continual interruptions with " check internet connection" then a few weeks after this the channel we were watching stopped and we had to restart again.

3. It got so bad I blamed the internet provider resulting in engineers coming to the house and confirming that their equipment was OK and then had an telecommunications expert to confirm problem with the app.I bought this app and was happy until I kept seeing a damn error.

4. You cant use the remote control to play or stop radio stations, also when you play a movie or TV station, if you go into the settings (bottom left) you cant use the remote control to move around the options, a bit poor for an app designed for Android tv boxes.Cannot cast from mobile.

5. Very bad and to consider I paid £9.49. Where's the recourse? Now I'm out of pocket and unable to view my TV to which I subscribeThis app has suddenly become useless as it keeps telling me to check my internet connection.

6. I am using Android STB T95Z Plus 7.1.2. In every 5 minutes am receiving a message teloing me that my internet connection is broken.

7. I kept an error for "connection is interrupted or unstable please check your internet connection and try again".

8. There is no problem with my very strong internet connection which is working fine on all other apps.

9. Continued to get worse and the last couple of weeks after running for 10 minutes the program froze so changed program but after a while froze again so we had to go back to the menu and restart but after a few more minutes stated no program and would not work at all.

10. I have great connection 500mbs and this error still pops up even though there is no lag on the stream.

11. Any why does the stream lag on my cell phone lte data? Please turn it off or give me an option to turn on or off.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix StalkerTV Issues

1. Fix StalkerTV Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart StalkerTV: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the StalkerTV App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "StalkerTV" » Open StalkerTV » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for StalkerTV » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear StalkerTV app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from StalkerTV servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "StalkerTV" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check StalkerTV app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, StalkerTV might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall StalkerTV. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall StalkerTV then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing StalkerTV not working


2. Fix StalkerTV Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make StalkerTV be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to StalkerTV not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, StalkerTV may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
