SILVERCREST SSRA1 Customer Insights

1. Thsnks!The app is ok, however when the vacuum docks and goes into sleep mode it disconnects from wifi and goes offline, and won't reconnect with the app! Please could this be sorted as I understand previous versions didn't have this issue.Does work okay but it lacks basic functionality.

2. Even though I followed all the step by step instructions it does not add the device to the app and therefore it's useless as a feature and does not provide the added value of a smart device as it does not connect with Alexa either.

3. Returning it under warranty to Lidl this week.Cannot even create an account (why do I even need one to begin with?!) because the app doesn't receive a verification code that is apparently needed for account creation? Completely useless app.

4. Uninstalling and I'll just use the remote.Works well as far as I can tell; WIFI connection took three attempts but works fine now.

5. Apart from that, it's a fantastic hooverI cannot simply connect the robot to the WIFI network using this app.

6. I am in the market for vac 3, so will be watching...... ;)Since this new version, our cleaner disconnects from wifi when docked and sleeping mode.

7. I hope it will be fixed soon.took more than 6 hours in total to connect to wifi.

8. The only thing that pissed me off, is every few hours the robot will randomly move and try to re-dock, sometimes this can take up to 5 minutes when this happens, and I usually just turn the bugger off at the switch.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix SILVERCREST SSRA1 Issues

1. Fix SILVERCREST SSRA1 Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart SILVERCREST SSRA1: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the SILVERCREST SSRA1 App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SILVERCREST SSRA1" » Open SILVERCREST SSRA1 » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SILVERCREST SSRA1 » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear SILVERCREST SSRA1 app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SILVERCREST SSRA1 servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SILVERCREST SSRA1" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check SILVERCREST SSRA1 app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SILVERCREST SSRA1 might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall SILVERCREST SSRA1. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SILVERCREST SSRA1 then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SILVERCREST SSRA1 not working
