Pocket Customer Insights

1. In the recent past, Ive been unable to LISTEN to most articles on my phone e.g. from the New York Times and other sites, which I WAS able to just a week ago! It gives an error, There was a problem playing this article.

2. I have chronic headaches, and having the ability to just use the simple article view, with the black background, allowed me to read a lot more, without all the distractions and extra light.

3. Speaking of long articles, thirdly the app no longer tracks reading progress so if you're reading a very long article you get sent back to the beginning of the article if you leave the app.

4. Terrible! What happened to Article view? I have loved this app since way, way back in the day, when it was still called Read it Later.

5. The app no longer saves my last read position, and many article views that I had no issues with previously are now web view only.

6. 5/9/23 update: Hard to believe...but 8.4.1.3 actually broke the text to speech functionalityThe newest update was a major downgrade and outright riddance of the very features I use Pocket for.

7. Fewer and fewer articles open in article view, which is the key feature I use this app for.

8. If I wanted to read the articles on the web, I wouldn't need to use Pocket. The recent Apr.

9. I dont think Mozilla understands this app and the changes since they've owned it really show that. What the hell happened to the app? Now instead of tapping the now playing and being taken to the app it like any other Android app that plays audio, it starts the currently playing list over.

10. I could be in article 25/30 and instead of opening to the app, to the article it's currently playing (like it used to) it will go back to article 1? This makes no sense.

11. Bottomline: unable to listen to articles which I love to do while doing chores :)It was a little buggy before but it's been very stable now.
