Why should I report an Issue with FreeControl?

1. AppContacter will directly Email your issue/feedback to an apps's customer service once you report an issue and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen to you.

3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. You are at the mercy of the servers and when they are down or updating you don't get any notifications and you are left potentially vulnerable to opportunistic thieves.. Which is not what I spent nearly a grand forI wanted a smart alarm ii can control anywhere this tech has been a complete waste of money and regret not staying with hard wired security system.Keep getting a " unknown error has occurred" message every time I try And set the alarm.

2. Im happy with my alarm system, but this app does not do it justice.This FREE control has been problematic since installed by Astra Alarms in late 2019, following a system failure June 21 a dongle type item was replaced.

3. The Free Control icon is no longer accessible, is this because you want £20 a year? When I paid Astra Alarms this feature was a described as a free benefit no matter of an on going cost was ever mentioned.Don't buy a smart alarm.

4. I cannot mute notifications from freecontrol as if I'm away from home overnight I want to know if my house alarm goes off but I'm having to mute to not get disturbed by these irritating £ unnecessary notifications which have only recently started.

5. It would be great to have push notifications so we can be notified of alarm status changes on our device.

6. I would also like to see Alexa or Google Assistant support so can tell it to set the alarm and also control the alarn in Googoe Home.

7. Now getting notifications when another household member switches the alarm on or off.

8. Keep for alarm going off.The app hasn't worked for me in over a month.

10. Paying a subscription for this.Changed phone download the app and won't let me log in at all uninstall and install but still the sameim a brand new customer and my firat impressions are not very good.

1. Fix FreeControl Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart FreeControl: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the FreeControl App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "FreeControl" » Open FreeControl » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for FreeControl » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear FreeControl app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from FreeControl servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "FreeControl" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check FreeControl app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, FreeControl might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall FreeControl. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall FreeControl then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing FreeControl not working

2. Fix FreeControl Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make FreeControl be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to FreeControl not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, FreeControl may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
