CamHipro Customer Insights

1. Add selection area for motion detection and i will tell all my friends to get this appFor a low budget camera I gotta say after almost a year it's been doing it's job .

2. Other IoT devices still connected and operational, however, this IP camera goes in and out of connection despite it being right next to the router.

3. Neither the camera nor the wifi router has moved or changed and all my other comm functions and IoT apps work perfectly.

4. What's the point of having a 5mp camera if you can't zoom in on the image easily?I have tried using the app with a Topodome camera, it is what they recommend.

5. After re-reading the steps it told me to go into the time zone settings and move it from Hong Kong to Chicago time (for me) no more issues!Version 3.0.30 Issues with software maintaining connection.

6. Ever since the last update, however, the camera always goes offline with "Network anomaly!" messages after 10-30 seconds.

7. Currently the only chance you get to put them in order is to add them in order but if a camera needs to get replaced or one is added, it will always be last in list no matter where it was originally.

8. Devs feel free to emailApp was originally installed in March when I bought the camera and it worked great.

9. The first camera had no issues connecting via phone to wifi to camera.

10. When you zoom in or out it will keep zooming in after you let go of the button... Another problem you're not able to change the frame rate and stuff like that when it comes to video settings.

11. Now I do have 2 things I'm sure come on more expensive models but this is what kept this camera from it's 5 stars.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix CamHipro Issues

1. Fix CamHipro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart CamHipro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the CamHipro App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "CamHipro" » Open CamHipro » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for CamHipro » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear CamHipro app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from CamHipro servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "CamHipro" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check CamHipro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, CamHipro might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall CamHipro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall CamHipro then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing CamHipro not working


2. Fix CamHipro Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make CamHipro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to CamHipro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, CamHipro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I have had my camera system for 3 years now and never had a problem with the CamHi Pro app.
    I am trying to reconnect a camera however the QR codes are all faded. The new app doesn't have an option to generate a QR code on the phone screen for the camera to scan????
    Can't do anything now to reconnect the camera as everything requires me to scan the QR code on camera.
    How can I now connect my camera

  • Hello, this is my second CamHipro not sure why but if I keep it login after a few hours the wireless kicks me out and would have to unplug and replug the power to reconnect the wireless.

  • As of Sept 5 my cameras are not connecting properly. I have two cameras, they only get online ever once in awhile. My Internet is the same , shows connecting but will not get online. I would say once a day they will be online. One camera I bought inApril, I bought 2 but had to replace one already. My problems began then. What can I do

  • Not a complaint but help required. Purchased camera about 2 years ago and very happy with it. I have the app on my iPhone where I view the camera outputs.
    After updating the iPhone to ios16 the app no longer rotates on screen.
    Is this something you can help with?

  • I purchased one of your clock radio with the hidden camera but my son tore off the piece of paper from the bottom of the radio that has on the UID number and the scan code so all I have left of the number is SSAA -334310 I believe that there are more number or letters left, a piece of the scan code is also gone so I really need your help in getting this working

  • I'm using an IP cam on my wifi. I've just changed Android phones and ported the CamHipro app to the new phone. I can't connect it to my camera and am getting Wrong Password errors. It's a long time since I installed the camera and the old password is lost. Is there any way to retrieve it or to set a new password without entering the old password please? Thank you.

    Pouvez vous m'indiquer comment recevoir les images de mes caméras partout.Je vous remercie.
