1. None work! The only time it connects to the camera is when you first link it via the QR code, as soon as you change any settings or connect it to WiFi for remote viewing, the camera becomes unavailable.

2. I threw the camera against a wall out of pure frustration with the setup & it's now truly broken like this app.Continues to show offline through the app even after rebooting the device and app.

3. It's been at least 2 days and I can't connect the camera correctly because of it.App is pretty unstable, devices disconnect too often, the photos and videos don't save to the files like they should.

4. Now nothing will save.. adjust, change, and live video fails to show even though camera is online.Needs a lot of improvement.

5. It actually works pretty good for the 1080P HD WiFi Bluetooth Speaker Hidden Camera.

6. But as far as the motion detection alerts that can be sent to the phone, the manual that came with it doesn't show the needed directions to create them, nor are there any available settings in this app that could be used to set them up.

7. I bought this camera from *SPYGEARGADGETS and they have been the WORST at their "customer service"! You will NEVER hear from them again! Google them.

8. The app is missing a critical feature to pair the camera that was shown on every video.

9. Video length is set to record for an hour at a time and record 24/7 but it doesn't.

10. I'll go back to that.Wow... 200 dollar camera that is useless because the application won't work.

11. Doesn't record to files, date and time stamp is always wrong.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix HdSmartIPC Issues

1. Fix HdSmartIPC Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart HdSmartIPC: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the HdSmartIPC App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "HdSmartIPC" » Open HdSmartIPC » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for HdSmartIPC » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear HdSmartIPC app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from HdSmartIPC servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "HdSmartIPC" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check HdSmartIPC app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, HdSmartIPC might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall HdSmartIPC. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall HdSmartIPC then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing HdSmartIPC not working


2. Fix HdSmartIPC Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make HdSmartIPC be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to HdSmartIPC not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, HdSmartIPC may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

    i can add the device but the wifi on my phone is hdsmartipct31 and not AI24…
    if i have added the new device its always offline and i cannot see any device settings only the name of the device

  • Hello, I have reset my mood light camera about ten times, I followed all the directions, then reset the password. But it won’t allow me to view video without the password, then when I enter the password I created it says password error. What am I supposed to do to get my camera back online

  • Hi I have a hdsmartipc camera. I've been through a few of them. But since getting this one I connect to the WiFi and camera comes online as normal but it will not give me live feed and the recorded videos can not be viewed by the usual computer program have reset and reinstalled a few times over but still can't resolve the issue. Need help .thanks Dave.
