1. I see some other comments lamenting that it doesn't work on latest Android or on Google pixel 2, but I'm using both and having no issues? I mostly use it for migraines though, and while my usage is hardly regular, it does stand out for me that the notifications/back and home buttons/pull down system menu aren't dimmed at all, which is uh kind of eye-gougingly noticeable with a significant migraine.
2. What works in 2013 is bound to have issues in 2019... It needs to be fixed. No longer fully functional, looks like it doesn't like the newest Android update.
3. Thanks for the good times, Screen Filter.I've been using this app for years without any issues.
4. Thank you guys, I have been getting away with my late-night Facebook scrolling & email checking since 2014!! :pIt's perfect and essential - Android is determined to burn your eyes out, each new version is brighter than the last - this app saves your eyeballs.
5. But with my newer android phone it only darkens the main screen, not the banners or controls.
6. This app was it! The Android 12 update came along and the screen freezes.
7. Hopefully there's an update coming, as I find this app to be one of the must havesWorks great... Until Android 12 update :( I've used this app for years without any problem.
8. Being able to dim the screen beyond the standard settings means being able to use your phone in places not normally allowed.
9. There is an option in settings for Screen Filter to run behind other apps, but that kinda defeats the purpose- for me, at least.
10. Soft keys still work, but the rest of the screen doesn't.
11. :( which means I can't watch my Netflix shows at night to fall asleep to or read anything on my screen.I can't recommend this app anymore.
Please help me. I accidentally lowered my brightness down to 1% and now I can't see anything on my phone what do I do?
