1. We 'add to cart' but doesn't reflect over to the app? So what's the point? Add to list is pointless if we're shopping for pick up.I'm not sure why Harris Teeter had to change the functionality of the app.

2. Difficult to add things to a list from e-vic specials, my specials, etc and nothing is in order by department when I doThis new version of the app is absolutely horrible.

9. Harris Teeter was our favorite place to shop, but changing rules and an app that doesn't function well have killed the joy.

10. It's no longer possible to add items to different lists without going into the lists each time and changing the active one, then going back to the product to add it (at least I can't find a way).

11. As a footnote, I should point out that most grocery store apps are intended to get you to order for delivery or pickup.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Harris Teeter Issues

1. Fix Harris Teeter Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Harris Teeter: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Harris Teeter App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Harris Teeter" » Open Harris Teeter » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Harris Teeter » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Harris Teeter app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Harris Teeter servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Harris Teeter" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Harris Teeter app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Harris Teeter might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Harris Teeter. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Harris Teeter then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Harris Teeter not working


2. Fix Harris Teeter Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Harris Teeter be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Harris Teeter not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Harris Teeter may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
