1. Everything else is great but I use Facebook messages a lot and having it be buggy for as long as I can remember is making me about to find something else.Overall it's getting pretty good, right now the only deal breaker that I have is that the like button on posts is very unresponsive, for example, I tap to like something and it thinks that I want to open the post instead of only liking, sometimes I tap, and it doesn't register the tap at all and I have to do it more than once, some other times I tap and hold to open the reactions menu and it doesn't register anything.

2. I think my gripe with any alternative Facebook app is always going to be the same - there are no smooth animations when long pressing to activate different like responses, and creating a post with multiple photos can be intuitive but still tedious.

3. This is a great alternative and nowhere near as imposing as the original app.I really like the skin and the gesture short cuts, that being said the the UI for messages looks a bit cheap and unpolished.

4. Also the update they recently did made Marketplace a pain in the ass now because they're using black text in the pictures of the items for sale to show the price.

5. If that problem gets fixed I would give it a 5 star review.I like this app, a few problems tho, although the delivery and indexing seems to exceed the original app the experience is not as smooth.

6. Would be great if a new message would prompt a chat bubble similar to the original app.Everything works these days and works well with the exception of videos.

9. *edit* Today's update fixed my complaint about the black text in Marketplace ads.

10. But I gave Swipe Pro a shot because I kept having to refresh pages before stories and ads were removed from my feed.

11. Such as videos do not seamlesly play automatically when you are browsing your timeline , and when you click on the videos to play on your timeline an entire new window is opened and the previous is completely covered.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Swipe Pro Issues

1. Fix Swipe Pro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Swipe Pro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Swipe Pro App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Swipe Pro" » Open Swipe Pro for Facebook » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Swipe Pro » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Swipe Pro for Facebook app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Swipe Pro servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Swipe Pro for Facebook" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Swipe Pro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Swipe Pro might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Swipe Pro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Swipe Pro then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Swipe Pro not working


2. Fix Swipe Pro Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Swipe Pro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Swipe Pro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Swipe Pro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
