1. Also, as of this week, every time I try to add someone to an existing group, I keep getting an error message saying "*person* cannot be added".

2. Once people are in the group, the chat function works ok, but getting them into the group is a major hassle.Used to love this app but it's recently gotten very glitchy.

3. There is so much potential for this app, but it is unfortunately wasted by a lack of effort to clean up the bugs.The app is a nice way to stay connected without having to keep up with a text message group.

4. The notifications work a quarter of the time, and a lot of times, messages don't send in dms at all.

5. To give some examples, when you access a group, you can't always access the side chat until you close and reopen the app, and when you try to remove a photo from a created event, there's an error.

1. Fix GroupMe Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart GroupMe: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the GroupMe App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GroupMe" » Open GroupMe » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GroupMe » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear GroupMe app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GroupMe servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GroupMe" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check GroupMe app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GroupMe might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall GroupMe. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GroupMe then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GroupMe not working

2. Fix GroupMe Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GroupMe be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GroupMe not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GroupMe may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
