1. Force stopping the app and clearing the cache doesn't seem to make a difference, nor does rebooting the device, though that would be an unacceptable workaround anyways.Keeps resetting notification settings to default rather than what I specify.

8. Sometimes I get a message before it even delivers to outlook(10 secs), then other times, I don't get the email for more than an hour after I get it on outlook.

9. The only drawback I would say is that when you go into the app it's not always evident the other BlackBerry apps that you're going to need to install to be able to use it.

10. For example, it will periodically fail authentication when using my fingerprint and force me to type in my password.

11. You aren't able to customize the swipe actions so that you can use swipe to mark an email as read.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix BlackBerry Work Issues

1. Fix BlackBerry Work Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart BlackBerry Work: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the BlackBerry Work App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "BlackBerry Work" » Open BlackBerry Work » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for BlackBerry Work » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear BlackBerry Work app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from BlackBerry Work servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "BlackBerry Work" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check BlackBerry Work app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, BlackBerry Work might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall BlackBerry Work. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall BlackBerry Work then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing BlackBerry Work not working


2. Fix BlackBerry Work Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make BlackBerry Work be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to BlackBerry Work not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, BlackBerry Work may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
