Aurora TV Customer Insights

1. This makes the app unusable and frankly not fit for purpose.Unable to find satip server, no manual config, rubishnot user friendly to set upGreat app but i have a bug with tvheadend, i can scan dvb-t, dvb-s but not dvb-c when i try to scan cable channels, its reboot the app.

2. organising channels, when you have 1200+ of channels can be very long by screen listing, maybe have the possibility to edit it by a txt files then inject it after (like samsung tv or LG...) Thanks and great work ;)I'm re-reviewing this app after trying it again.

3. Sometimes, when watching through Live Channels, the video will freeze up or even crash when the sync offset becomes extreme.

4. Now I'm having trouble keeping video in sync with audio on certain channels with 5.1 surround streams.

5. Some improvement: the are missing some channels logo (a lot in fact ) i know its a hard task but simply let us the possibility to put one if there are not.

6. The app times out at 15 minutes, before finishing scanning and doesn't save any of the channels it has already found.

7. I am watching on a 2015 Nvidia Shield and an HDHR3-US on a wired Network.Used with a Xoro 8100 server.

8. Tested on Triax tss 400 server.Doesn't seem to have video on note 4.

9. Right now I'm in the arduous process of changing a setting in Aurora TV and watching TV for 20 minutes to a half hour to see if the problem persists.

10. Stereo channels seem unaffected.

11. Keep up the good works.No C-band option.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Aurora TV Issues

1. Fix Aurora TV Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Aurora TV: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Aurora TV App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Aurora TV" » Open Aurora TV » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Aurora TV » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Aurora TV app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Aurora TV servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Aurora TV" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Aurora TV app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Aurora TV might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Aurora TV. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Aurora TV then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Aurora TV not working


2. Fix Aurora TV Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Aurora TV be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Aurora TV not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Aurora TV may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
