1. Only things it doesn't have is the ability to add one ingredient to a menu plan without creating a whole recipe for it ( like apples for lunch) and it would be nice if breakfast, lunch, and dinner would be separated.I'm impressed with the app! Been using it for about a month for meal-prep ideas, copy/pasting recipes from online.
2. It's is simple and easy to use, offering thoughtful functionality when it comes to saving recipes anywhere you find them on the web, and converting them to a well-organized shopping list.
3. Suggestion for developers: While viewing the shopping list, it would be great if we could sort the aisles in a custom order that matched the layout of our grocery stores rather than the standard alphabetical order.
4. Also the ability to customize recipes found on the internet while actually rewriting the recipe according to the needs or wants of the cook.Whisk is a LIFE (and time) SAVER in my efforts to streamline and simplify life, and in prioritizing healthy eating for my family.
5. I do wish that it would have a way to just text me the ingredients instead of sending a link to the app to go to the shopping list, but the shopping list is interactive and unrestrictedUpdating my review from 5 stars to 2.
6. That way it would allow for the recipe choice and shopping list to reflect the real ingredients list on hand.
7. The only option missing that would make this app perfect would be a "pantry" list where you can put everything you currently have in an inventory and an option where you can search for recipes that only include the items currently in your pantry.
8. Also, while it will send my ingredients to my shopping app, it won't allow me to choose which brands I actually want to buy - which creates more work for me than I want.I recommend this app to everyone I know that's looking to get into meal prep and planning.
9. However, the menu planning feature does not allow for manual entry for days you're cooking something that doesn't have (or need) a recipe, dining in/out, or someone else is cooking that day.
10. This would expedite the weekly or monthly menu and shopping list creation.
11. Very handy! My husband sometimes comes shopping with me and since he has the app too, we can split up and work through the list.
How do I save recipe videos from tik tok or safari to whisk app? When I try it, it says “something went wrong”
I am having issues with the list function on the Whisk app. At times I am unable to delete items on my shopping list, meaning that after I delete them, they automatically just repopulate. And I'm having issues in the other direction as well, that I add things on to my shopping list and once it's refreshed they have disappeared. Please advise.
