VeSync Customer Insights

1. The previous app did not require that.It was working fine, no problems, then just one day for no reason whatsoever says can't connect to wifi, so therefore nothing shows up at all in the app, and can't use any of the smart features for the device due to this.

2. Honestly, now that I linked my Google home app to my devices, this is being uninstalled.I like that this shows some detailed data with my smart scale (of which i very much doubt any measurements but weight).

3. Then it works fine next day, but not again day after, when wifi functions fine and no settings are changed.There are 2 people in the household who use the scale and track on different phones.

4. The app does not take my step and calorie and heartrate data to integrate with the food tracking data.It worked for a few hours with the new humidifier, then kept giving me a message.

5. Like the Intermittent Fasting card in the wellness tab, you can't edit, delete, or change a fast to be longer after it's been started or stopped, so I have to enter in incorrect data to use it.

6. Having to go to the air fryer and press start every time completely defeats the whole point of being able to start it from my phone.

7. This time I've been resetting everything for 10 min and still no connection between scale and phone.

8. Even when the device is on, and Bluetooth showing, opening the app at that time does not have it connect to the app.

9. The correct way to use this app is to step on the scale and wait for about 3 seconds for it to connect.

10. We have to turn off the blue tooth on one phone so that the data is not sent to the wrong phone.

11. Every morning I'm constantly fighting the app to connect to the Bluetooth scale.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix VeSync Issues

1. Fix VeSync Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart VeSync: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the VeSync App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "VeSync" » Open VeSync » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for VeSync » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear VeSync app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from VeSync servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "VeSync" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check VeSync app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, VeSync might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall VeSync. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall VeSync then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing VeSync not working


2. Fix VeSync Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make VeSync be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to VeSync not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, VeSync may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I cannot add my VeSync 2.4 Mhz wifi outlet plugs to my eero 6 dual-band mesh wifi system using my iPhone. My VeSync app states, "Device offline Your device may be out of network or powered off." It is not powered off, and the outlets are not detected by the wifi system. How do I get these onto the wifi system?

  • My ESN00 smart kitchen scale arrived last week. It appears to function correctly. It syncs with the VeSync app.
    The weight of food on the scale shows on the app. When I enter in the "What's on the scale" area, nothing happens. I've tried entering banana, orange, bread, and the app does not show information for that food. The page shows the shadow fruit icon and "No data yet".

    I've tried rebooting my phone, and deleting the app and reinstalling it with no success.
    ETEKCITY has been unresponsive. Can you help me?
    Is it a setting issue, app issue?

  • Problems opening app and no detail. Tried unistallung, removing batteries and cannot connect today. Same thing yesterday
