1. When visitors press your doorbell, you receive a push notification on your smartphone or tablet and can immediately answer your door – from anywhere in the world.
2. The DoorBird can also send instant alerts when a visitor triggers the built-in motion sensor.
3. DoorBird's innovative IP technology was developed in Germany and is continuously improved through regular app and hardware updates.
4. The DoorBird App provides mobile access to DoorBird IP Video Door Stations.
5. Using the app, you can see and hear your visitors in real time, speak with them or unlock the door.
6. No matter if you are at home or not, you will never miss a visitor or a delivery.
7. The system works in your local network (LAN) as well as outside of your home network environment without range limitation and securely encrypted over the Internet.
1. However, could be improved: - notifications are often delayed for up to a minute - in general I would prefer if it wasn't a notification, but a call instead, so it would ring till you answer it PS my internet connection is steady, stop blaming the problem with with the delayed notifications on the connection and fix it!Nice and stable app that does it's job.
2. My connection is around 2000 mbps and Doorbird is still inconsistent. The notification for this app is so brief and quiet or non-existent that I'm missing the door bell, rendering this app unusable.
3. ETA: I can't let my phone just make noises during my work day.horrible, this app will not connect to the front door to allow people to call me from the front door...I could open the door, view the camera, and everything else but have someone call me from the door... up until today... now the POS doesn't even connect to the camera and I can't buzz anyone in or anything... it just spins as if it's trying to connect... absolutely worthlessIt's alright, gets the job done.
4. Notifications are often delayed (iphone rings way before), the notification should be high priority (it won't ring in do not disturb), video feed should prefetch, the "key" button should be enabled as soon as the app opens and not wait for video (especially annoying as our key is in another app).
5. Instead they are providing for my case non applicable reasons why the Doorbird randomly loses connection (for a longer period of time up to a couple of days) from time to time.
6. Works fine.Unfortunately now and then the connection with the internet just get lost, despite the Doorbird is connected with utp cable.
7. Since the Doorbird app tries to locate the Doorbird device automatically (in it's own subnet) it will eventually fallback to a (slower) cloud connection.
8. I cannot recommend this product to customers for that reason. The app is barely functional: - Frequently dropped events (no push notification, no sound, nothing) - Even when it delivers the notification, the app uses media volume instead of notification volume.
9. If you had your music volume turned down, you're not going to notice your doorbell Keep in mind, this is AFTER I've turned off battery optimization and allowed unrestricted background data usage for the app in Android's settings.
10. All other internet connected devices work properly, except for the Doorbird.
11. This makes me hate when people ring our door.Terrible provider for how expensive the service is.
