1. I'm not dealing with this app every time I want lunch.App worked fine when initially installed, but now doesn't allow me to join the wait list.

2. When we get to our local Cracker Barrel (the one shown when I try to join the wait list), the store's system doesn't show me on their list.

3. If they revert back to the previous version, it would be much improved.This update utterly killed the app... I've used the previous version for months and ordered lunch in a few seconds each time.

6. Otherwise great job and great improvements!The mobile pay doesn't work sometimes and now the waitress blocked the scan code saying that they don't get the tip sometimes.

7. My last order was totally incorrect and when I pulled up the order history it did not show an order for the past 6 months.

8. Also, the wait list doesn't work.

9. When I completed the payment process through the app, it did not provide a confirmation of payment, and there was no email or text message to confirm payment.

10. This app has gotten better since I've been using it, but still a few areas that need work.The app is a bit wonky and not very intuitive.

11. It is horrible... either roll back to the previous version or you are losing a customer.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Cracker Barrel Issues

1. Fix Cracker Barrel Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Cracker Barrel: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Cracker Barrel App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Cracker Barrel" » Open Cracker Barrel » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Cracker Barrel » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Cracker Barrel app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Cracker Barrel servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Cracker Barrel" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Cracker Barrel app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Cracker Barrel might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Cracker Barrel. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Cracker Barrel then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Cracker Barrel not working

  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Cracker Barrel may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
