1. The phone verification is a bit slow as well, so I wouldn't recommend using the app in the store as you can only collect points before you pay.Overall, really slick and ordering is easy.

7. Just today, I've tried to order 3-4 times, and the order doesn't go through, and my account keeps getting charged.

8. 4/26/23 Update: We used a group order and it worked slick this time.

9. Also it takes over 2 days to get your points added to your account.

10. Basically, I know chipotle wants data, and I REALLY want their rewards, but the app just doesn't work with their workflow and it has never actually worked for me.

11. There's virtually no points accumulation, and without any sort of deals or promotions, this app is just a waste of space on your phone.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Chipotle Issues

1. Fix Chipotle Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Chipotle: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Chipotle App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Chipotle" » Open Chipotle - Fresh Food Fast » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Chipotle » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Chipotle - Fresh Food Fast app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Chipotle servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Chipotle - Fresh Food Fast" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Chipotle app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Chipotle might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Chipotle. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Chipotle then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Chipotle not working


2. Fix Chipotle Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Chipotle be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Chipotle not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Chipotle may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

A couple of weeks ago I placed an online order. My husband drove to the store to pick it up only to find a sign on the door stating they were closed and for us to call the posted phone number for a refund. I called and was told I would receive a full refund. I did receive a credit back on my debit card but, was not given back the $3.16 I had used on a gift card. Please refund the balance
