I installed a wall-switch, and after multiple hours of waiting for the update to finish, I went down to the breaker box to cycle the power, rebooted the router, and uninstalled/reinstalled the app just to get the bright blinking blue light to quit blinkingWhen it works, it's great, but that's only half the time.

2. I can even use a line-in to balance audio converter for the speakers as an option but the delay introduced requires play with the timing which isnt really worth the extra power supply drain on the grid.The app keeps saving my schedules as random on off time.

3. Bought a Feit plug and it works great! Feit lets you set rules for specific days! It's superior to Wemo x 100!This is an update to my 2019 review.

4. You guys need to write an app that works or refund moI wasn't a fan of the Wemo mini plug on day 1 but I thought I'd get my money's worth.

5. I have 3 lights on the app, and for instance, today the kitchen light keeps showing as "on" when it's not, which then doesn't allow me to control that light through the app... I have to manually turn the light on, then open the app, then manually turn the light back off, then I'm able to use the app to control that light — it's super annoying to say the least.

6. I tried before Christmas (12/22/22) and spent an hour off and on, and couldn't get 4 different devices (3 plugs, 1 switch) to connect, even after resetting the parts.

7. I will switch to Kasa plugs as Wemo has become unusable.

8. This smart wall plug is the thing that allows me to conveniently use powered speakers for simple home theater.

9. Only the light switch is needed now.Been using for couple years now.

10. I'm not sure how it syncs the time but even with rules, it would randomly turn off at different times.

1. Fix Wemo Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Wemo: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Wemo App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Wemo" » Open Wemo » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Wemo » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Wemo app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Wemo servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Wemo" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Wemo app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Wemo might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Wemo. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Wemo then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Wemo not working

2. Fix Wemo Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Wemo be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Wemo not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Wemo may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
