Why should I report an Issue with Backblaze?

1. Backblaze on Android is a free app to access and share files backed up to Backblaze Computer Backup.

2. You can also manage buckets, upload, download, and share files to and from your Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage account.

3. Backblaze Mobile is a companion app for Backblaze Online Backup, an award-winning automatic online backup service that backs up unlimited data.

1. Also, because the backup browse only shows file names, you can't find the photo you want to download without downloading it first.

2. It would be nice to be able to mark multiple photos for download, or entire directory to speed up this process.Unfortunately after entering decryption key the browse function never loads.

3. Edit: Working the next day... Will change review if it keeps working 👍Am using the trial period before deciding to buy, thumbnail images are NOT displaying for jpg image files (as described/shown here and on your website).

4. It would be nice to be able to preview thumbnails of videos or view files in different views, such as tiled.

5. Also, is there a way to view the current backup progress? I am away from my PC, and in the app all I can see is the number files backed up and their size.

7. The download speed is fine, but the listing of Downloads takes a long time to load for the first time.

8. The mobile app simply doesn't work - crashes when trying to access any file and slow as hell when browsing.

10. Once you view the file, go back, the same amount of time has to elapse for the listing to become available again.

1. Fix Backblaze Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Backblaze: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Backblaze App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Backblaze" » Open Backblaze » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Backblaze » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Backblaze app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Backblaze servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Backblaze" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Backblaze app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Backblaze might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Backblaze. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Backblaze then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Backblaze not working

2. Fix Backblaze Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Backblaze be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Backblaze not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Backblaze may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
