1. By that I mean that either it should be stopping those apps on the first go, OR it is simply showing that the true nature of my phone is that any cleaning app can't really get everything in a single pass and Droid Optimizer allows you to keep doing the process until the phone is actually clean.

2. There are 2 things it claims to do that are brilliant and I can't find in other cleaner apps... it stops selected apps from launching at startup and it has a whitelist to allow apps to not be stopped when you clean the phone with Optimizer.

1. Fix Droid Optimizer Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Droid Optimizer: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Droid Optimizer App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Droid Optimizer" » Open Droid Optimizer » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Droid Optimizer » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Droid Optimizer app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Droid Optimizer servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Droid Optimizer" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Droid Optimizer app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Droid Optimizer might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Droid Optimizer. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Droid Optimizer then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Droid Optimizer not working

2. Fix Droid Optimizer Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Droid Optimizer be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Droid Optimizer not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Droid Optimizer may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
