1. Complain to Zappiti to place viewing controls to select file showing ONLY videos, or only music, or only pictures OR all files as this version forces you to live with.

2. This update will expose ALL files in the folder from Thumb.db, Desk.ini, PDF's, DOC's, your text files, picture files, show all the sub-files (I have two language subtitles plus a jpg-pic per video) etc.

3. My version of Android might be too new.The previous version had Explorer show only video files.

4. Your folder view will triple in size on the Explorer folder view making the search for movies complicated and tiresome.

5. When it starts up it displays the Zappiti Explorer logo, then it switches to images from various movies shifting back and forth, but nothing else happens.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Zappiti Explorer Issues

1. Fix Zappiti Explorer Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Zappiti Explorer: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Zappiti Explorer App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Zappiti Explorer" » Open Zappiti Explorer » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Zappiti Explorer » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Zappiti Explorer app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Zappiti Explorer servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Zappiti Explorer" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Zappiti Explorer app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Zappiti Explorer might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Zappiti Explorer. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Zappiti Explorer then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Zappiti Explorer not working


2. Fix Zappiti Explorer Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Zappiti Explorer be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Zappiti Explorer not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Zappiti Explorer may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
