1. Messages take too long to load and overall use isn't fluid.Love the ease of access with this app! It's a great way to connect with other college students at prospective institutions!The app used to be good, but since the update I haven't been able to open it.

2. It's perfectly suited to allow newly admitted students to mingle! An improved version of GroupMe, imo.Great app! A very user-friendly, easy to use chat app for college communities.

3. I definitely recommend if you want to meet and connect with new people and find interest groups inside your college.I really wished there was something better than Groupme or Slack but that's all we had for all our college groups.

1. Fix Patio Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Patio: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Patio App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Patio" » Open Patio - College Chat » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Patio » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Patio - College Chat app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Patio servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Patio - College Chat" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Patio app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Patio might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Patio. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Patio then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Patio not working

2. Fix Patio Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Patio be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Patio not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Patio may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
