My Airtel Customer Insights

1. Maybe it is time to just port.The app provides a faster,secure and reliable way of doing transactions on a mobile phone.I would have rated it a five(5) star application but the app doesn't allow a transfer or sending money to other networks except airtel.It would be great to hear back from you in the next update of the application.The app has only one problem ,it takes quite awhile to display the statement of transactions, its last transactions are 8 days ago when I have been making transactions on daily basis.

Thank youI have decided to give this app a 4 star because i love that fact that I can watch movies without having to pay for them or subscribe to watch their channels , and also it's easy to use and very reliable and I am able to see the transactions I made and also be able to see who sent me money but the only one thing that is not good is that I can't watch or use it without another data Network, please work on that, overall it's really amazingGreat app and easy to use.

3. It's technically not related to anything that involves data or minutes or SMS purchase nor Airtel Money.

4. Super easy user interface to navigate through and get the most basic stuff, like purchasing data and SMS/Call minutes.

5. Noticed one drawback, though most times when you want to make a transaction it be buying talk time or withdrawing cash it keeps on saying wrong password when the password is actually correct.

6. But fraudsters are using this app stealing money from airtel money wallet.

7. But recently, it cannot be used when you are using WiFi, you also have to restart the phone a few times and it reports too many server time our errors or failure to connect.

8. I had two SIM cards on a mobile app, one with 10k balance, but the app forced me to use the first SIM for payment when I tried to buy data for the second SIM.

9. It keeps telling me it doesn't work on rooted devices when I know for a fact that my phone is not rooted.

10. I was hoping on using it to atleast check my data balance since the SMS never comes in.

11. A lot, though, can be done on the Airtel Money section.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix My Airtel Issues

1. Fix My Airtel Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart My Airtel: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the My Airtel App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "My Airtel" » Open My Airtel » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for My Airtel » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear My Airtel app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from My Airtel servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "My Airtel" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check My Airtel app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, My Airtel might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall My Airtel. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall My Airtel then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing My Airtel not working


2. Fix My Airtel Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make My Airtel be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to My Airtel not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, My Airtel may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
