iWant Customer Insights

1. Also, after watching teleserye.. when I click back, it always goes to the landing screen instead of the episodes list that I am watching.This is a great app with many free shows, my only complaint is it always lags and I can't play the show I was watching.

2. Great concept, but I really think devs should improve the quality of service, bugs etc.Turns into a black screen in the middle of the video.

3. Super hassle! If there's a downgrade option, I will definitely choose thatWhen in full screen, the video player suddenly turns the screen to black and there isn't a way you can interact with it.

4. My main problem is when I stream a movie or an episode, the screen gets black all of a sudden and that's it! I have to close the app, then reopen it.

5. First, when ads is coming, you will be interrupted and it results to logging and makes your screen black only.

6. You need to close the app then reopen it only for the screen to turn black again after a few minutes.

7. In the middle of watching, the video always stops eventhough I have a strong Internet connection.

8. The full screen function does not work unlike the old iWant TV app and a waste of 720p quality.

9. The ads show then poof! Black screen ulit.

10. It just shows a small 9 inch screen and not full screen!Too many bugs.

11. You can't bookmark a show unless you watch it first so that it will appear (forever) on the 'continue watching' tab.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix iWant Issues

1. Fix iWant Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart iWant: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the iWant App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "iWant" » Open iWant » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for iWant » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear iWant app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from iWant servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "iWant" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check iWant app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, iWant might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall iWant. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall iWant then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing iWant not working


2. Fix iWant Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make iWant be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to iWant not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, iWant may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I rented the LICB Christmas promo amounting to 199 I paid via gcash but I was not able to watch it. please check it. It's always loading every time I click the watch now. I was disappointed because it's just a waste of money. It is said when I paid that I rented the movie for 48 hours but I haven's seen it even once.
