1. 2) We tried using our rewards points to purchase our order using both in-store and online payment on the app (mobile), on Google Chrome (desktop) AND Firefox (desktop) with and there was always an error.

2. We ended up having to choose "pay in-store" without using points to get the order to go through and then we had issues there.So I'm signed in on the app, I can order things, but when I go to rewards, it makes me sign in again.

3. It started with whoever the decision makers of rewards are a couple months ago, when there were rewards added that couldn't be used because there was already a promotion on the items in the store so the system wouldn't recognize the reward.

4. Despite having access to location services it does not order from the closet store but rather the last one you ordered from.

5. I was unable to complete my order because no matter what I tried it just kept saying 'Unable to process payment'.

6. After a couple more months mind you, I have tried again to log in and can even get pass the actual link button.Looks great, doesn't work.

7. Fix it, Casey's.I have had the app on my phone for a while now and all of a sudden I can't log into the app, I have tried to Uninstall and re-install and still get an error saying error try again later.

8. I didn't catch this until it's too late, so I called the store that the order was sent to and I was told I have to cancel from the app.

9. Scanning at the counter failed, and due to my mistake entering my phone number, which is a static field after entry, no points for me.

10. The app doesn't give me that option, but the confirmation email says to call the store to change or cancel.You can't log in.

11. I have been dealing with customer service but being able to sell points for additional savings at the pump is difficult now.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Casey's Issues

1. Fix Casey's Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Casey's: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Casey's App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Casey's" » Open Casey's » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Casey's » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Casey's app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Casey's servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Casey's" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Casey's app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Casey's might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Casey's. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Casey's then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Casey's not working


2. Fix Casey's Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Casey's be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Casey's not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Casey's may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
