1. However, that version doesn't work well with newer phones, so for initial setup an older android phone is required, but once WiFi setup is complete, you can connect a new phone.Update: when I record video it saves corrupt :( Previous comment: I just got and set it up.
2. I try to watch the camera during every feeding to make sure it is working, but I would really like to have it record a few seconds every time (like a ring doorbell or other device would).
3. Doesn't integrate with Google home, and when I'm away "entire purpose of the wifi feeder" in a different time zone the app constantly wants to change time zones as if I brought the feeder on vacation with me lol.The system works fine.
4. Video, night vision and audio all work fine too.
5. I wish the app would let you schedule a video recording, or have an option to record video for 5 minutes every feeding.
6. It would also be nice if you could trigger a feeding while you are recording live video. The app is pretty bare bones with a rather oudated or amatuer look.
7. That said this device does make it easier to be away from home, but I still try to have a backup person available just in case. The FV01 is a solid piece of hardware and looks nice.
8. Initially the Link kept disconnecting, giving me barely 10 seconds of video before going offline, also it was stuck in night mode.
9. I get a permission error trying to use an existing photo, and using the camera option does nothing.
10. I reset the device (hold Set) and used a different router to connect to a new Wifi.
11. Long SSID didnt work, so i changed the Wifi network name.
