1. The free ReactionFlash(R) app is a great way to learn named reactions, understand their mechanisms and view examples published in peer-reviewed literature or patents.
2. Professor Carreira has helped ensure that we have all the fundamental reactions that should be part of every chemist’s toolkit: from the best-known ones to the ones only Nobel Prize winners remember!
3. Reaxys delivers experimental facts from the literature, enabling researchers to find the best synthetic routes and conditions.
4. Want to refresh your memory on named chemical reactions before an exam or a group meeting?
5. Linking into Reaxys enables you to find the most recent examples of each reaction, many with experimental details.
6. Each ‘card’ shows the reaction, its mechanism and examples from peer-reviewed, published literature.
7. Carreira of ETH Zürich, the app now covers over 1'250 named chemistry reactions.
8. Download the app now and see if you know all the named reactions!
9. Designed and developed in consultation with Professor Dr. Erick M.
10. The app is designed like a set of flash cards so it can be used as a learning tool as well as a reference.
11. It also has a quiz mode that lets you test your knowledge.
1. But really good as i can review any reaction happilyReally a great application to all the chemists... It's very handy and acts like a digital copy of all the reactions' catalog... My only suggestion would be... It would've been very nice if one could view the starred reaction separately instead of going on searching for each and every starred reaction evertime in the same entire list...Nice app ... But there is a problen with the orientation It automatically rotate from portait to landscape and vica versa without even rotating the phone .. I think there is some glitch or a bug..... Provide an update... Rest all is good and appreciable.....This app is great for students, especially for the ones preparing for competitive exams.
2. Although, on thing is annoying: Clicking a reaction rotates the screen to landscape and if you're not very careful your gyrometer rotates it right back, going back out into the menu.
3. But few can be made, such as including the temperature range of the reaction, mentioning where the substitution or addition or elimination takes place in less or more hindered sites, will it be cis or trans, the yield percentage range, etc.Excellently built.
4. In quiz mode it switches to landscape if you rotate phone it pauses the quiz and returns to portrait orientation.
5. It swaps between landscape and portrait mode and when turned to accomodate the new screen orientation it interferes with what the app is doing eg.
6. The icon can be changed. This is really good, you get all reactions at a place which makes it really easy to review reactions while doing synthesis etc.
7. It is severe enough that i cannot use the app, this can't be corrected by disabling landscape reactions in the settings.Works gr8 on my old Note 8.
8. This app has nice features, however as mentioned in other reviews the orientation is unstable rendering it unusable.
9. One of the best app for Name Reaction in Organic chemistry.
10. 🤗🤗🤗🤗👍👍👍👍really frickin good app my only reserve is the quizzing mode where it just gives a name.
11. App has loads of information and the reaction mechanisms are so elaborately explained.
